The Edward H. Cooley
Collection - Basic Repair and Restoration Options
For the sake of historical documentation, all of the whips in the
Edward H. Cooley Collection have been left in the condition they were
received, which includes any damage (fall hitches needing to be retied,
torn keepers, etc...) or alterations (tape covering for grip, etc...)
that were made while in Cooley's possesion. If the winning bidder
so chooses, any basic repairs or restoration that do not affect the
integrity of the whip can be performed on their item upon request, and
prior to shipment.
If you would like any repair or restoration to be performed on an item
please include a note along with your bid or prior to the item being
shipped. The cost of repair can be included in the total once the
item's sale has been finalized.
If you have any
questions about the extent of a particular item's repair or restoration
possibilities, or would like an estimate of the repair or restoration
cost prior to making an offer, please send an email to: CooleyCollection@midwestwhips.com
with the specific item listed and areas of interest on that particular
item for repair or restoration.
